Despite a little rain, Katie and Anthony’s wedding day was great. They were married at Blessed Kateri Church in LaGrangeville, with the reception at Villa Borghese. We were able to dodge the rain and do portraits of the couple outside, and I tell you, for such a small space, there is so much I can do there! Katie specifically wanted a nighttime shot of them in front of the building, and when it started raining, I didn’t let that stop me. I only had my flash umbrella that I had them use, so when I couldn’t find an umbrella to cover me, I went to the kitchen. Cue in photographer wearing garbage bag!
The bride and groom had a contest going to raise money for pancreatic cancer research. There were two bags- the bride’s bag, and the groom’s bag- where guests could donate money. The bride’s bag had the most money at the time of cake cutting, which meant Anthony was wearing cake!! What a fun way to raise money for a cause close to their hearts. Thanks for having me there to capture your day Katie and Anthony!!
